Presidents Welcome

I would like to welcome you to our Deakin University Touch Football website.This year I can already tell we are going to have an amazing and successful time on and off the field. I am extremely proud to represent our club in the capacity of President although I'm well aware it will be a challenging task to fill the shoes of those who have gone before me.

I would like to thank Caitlyn Jeffers and Elizabeth Motteram for stepping up and taking on the roles of Treasurer and Secretary as well as putting their hand up to organise training sessions once the 2012 winter season commences. As with previous years (yes we are approaching our 10th year), there will be challenges and obstacles ahead, but these can't take away the fun, mateship and enjoyment that being a part of this club brings.

We, the Committee have an open door policy and encourage any feedback and ideas to be brought forward, as we have the best interests of the club and its members at heart.

We as the club have already got a packed calendar of events for the new year.

Including:

             -Sale Knockout Touch Tournament

             -Deakin Uni Touch Training Camp

             -Southern University Games

             -Australian University Games

             -Monthly Social Events & Much more.....

I'm really excited for the ahead and what it will bring. I encourage you (no matter what age or experience level) to flick us an email or come see us at our 'o week' table as we are always looking for new players.
